The choice of a pool water slide is a trial most pool owners must face. There are numerous slide styles along with varying costs. Once a pool owner decides these two factors, he can narrow down his search and hopefully purchase the pool slide right for his family.

First of all, the type of pool will limit a pool owner’s options right away. An above ground pool owner will only have a few choices available to him. An above ground pool is restricted because of the shallow depth of his pool, where as the possibilities for an inground pool owner are endless.

The next important step is to set a budget. How much money do you have to spend? The cost of a residential pool water slide will range from one thousand dollars up to fourteen thousand dollars plus shipping. One must then decide if he can mount the pool slide himself or will he have to hire a pool contractor to install it.

Pool slide come in countless sizes and styles. The two obvious distinctions between slides are open slides versus (enclosed) tube slides. In my opinion, tube water slides are much safer than open water slides. I witnessed an almost disastrous accident when a boy fell off an open slide so I will always be partial to tube slides. Next, we can move on and decide if we want to buy a straight water slide or a curved water slide. Open slides come in straight or curved with the majority being curved. Tube slides also are made straight or curved but the majority is straight unless you venture in to the commercial line. If a pool owner does buy commercial, the price just skyrocketed due to liability issues.

Another factor we must consider is the slide height. They will vary from four to eight foot high for residential pools. The children are always going to opt for the higher and faster slide. But the parents will cringe at the differences in prices. Minor points to evaluate are the slides warranty and weight restrictions. The bulk of pool slide manufacturers warrants their product for three years, but please read the fine print. If one of their stipulations is not met for installation, then the warranty is void. The weight limit for pool slides is generally two hundred and fifty pounds.

The Banzai Jungle Blast Water park is one of the largest Banzai water park inflatable products available. It is designed in much the same way as the smaller water slides. It uses the same continuous air flow blower to inflate the water park in less than 5 minutes. The product is made of the same durable and hard wearing materials that the other Banzai water slides use. In particular, the railings, the climb wall handles and foot holes and the slide walls and surfaces. They are made of  heavy-duty Dura-Tech material ( PVC-coated 420D Terylene). The slide surfaces are made to be durable and slippery at the same time. They are made with  PVC-coated polyester tarpaulin. The material is also UV resistant so that sunlight does not cause it to crack or perish.

As the name suggests the water park is a mini theme park – it is the jungle theme or maybe you are traveling down the Amazon river or whatever your child’s imagination can dream up. The jungle is created by the decorated green jungle fronds and leaves over the observation deck and the exit archway of the sidewinder slide.

The blast comes from the water cannon mounted on a wall of the splash pool. It is ideally located to blast your friends as they exit the slides or the dive ramp. Kids are sure to get heaps of fun with this toy.

The slides are basically the falls original and sidewinder falls water slides together in one inflatable toy. The dimensions of these two slides are the same as the original falls and sidewinder falls slides. The  climbing wall is the same style too. It leads to what is referred to as the clubhouse or observation deck. This is the top of both slides and has a roof covered in faux Amazonian jungle leaves. Children can stand in the clubhouse waiting to slide or just hanging around Banzai Water Park.

Again, there are quite a few reports that the product splits quite easily or get tears which makes it quite frustrating to use not to mention the costs incurred in purchasing it. However there are other comments that say the product has lasted a couple of years and they are very happy with Banzai Water Park.

The Banzai Splash Blast Water Slide is a water slide and paddle pool. The slide is a straight drop that leads to the paddle pool. The paddle pool is quite large and there is a sprinkler system in the corner of the paddle pool that a child can stand under to cool off or just have fun. Access the top of the slide with the traditional Banzai climbing wall.

This is not just a plain Banzai Blast water slide but not quite a mini water park. It has one main activity for your kids to have a go at, that is the water slide. This slide is 16 ft. high. There is a cozy launch deck at the top of the slide where children can prepare for the ride or just relax a bit. The slide leads to a fairly shallow paddle pool (depth is about knee high for a 7 year old child but can vary as more water fills the pool). The climbing wall that lets the children get to the top of the slide has the standard handles and foot holes for easy climbing. Great exercise for kids.

The Banzai Splash Blast Water Slide is designed like most other Banzai water slides. It uses a continuous airflow blower to inflate the toy. The blower is kept on constantly while the inflatable toy is being used. This keeps the structure secure and safe for use.

The material has been quite durable according to initial reports which suggest that it will last for a few summers, especially if you take sufficient care of it and the kids don’t do anything too extreme. The material is a heavy-duty Dura-Tech material ( PVC-coated 420D Terylene with UV resistant properties). Areas of the inflatable that will get most wear are reinforced, this includes the handles on the climbing wall, the foot holes, the archway at the top of the slide and the side walls on the slide.

I’m not sure if having wave breakers is such a big deal but I guess it allows people far away from the slide to relax in the pool. In other words it makes the water park open to people that want to be active (on the slide) and others that prefer to just cool off on a hot day by sitting in the pool.

Other than the main slide with wave breakers, there is another mini slide and a climbing wall. Like most Banzai water slides, this water parks uses the same design of climbing wall. There are foot holes and handles that help you to scale the wall. The wall takes you to the top of each slide ready for the swoosh down into the splash pool.

However, this water park is slightly different from others in that you have to get into the pool to access the climbing wall. Most other slides have the climbing wall on one side of the inflatable external to the water.

Other than that, this water park is like any other Banzai water slide. It comes with an air blower and can be inflated in a matter of minutes (literature says 3 minutes but give yourself 15 minutes to get everything set up, including the water supply). The air blower has to be running continuously whilst the water park is in use. This ensures that the surface is easier to slide on as a ripple of air is constantly moving under the fabric.

It is sure to be a hit with the family and a great idea to set up at special events like BBQ s, birthday parties and other functions where plenty of kids will be about.

Banzai Roaring Rapids Adventure Park

The one most popular Banzai water slides is Banzai Roaring Rapids Adventure Park. It has three water slides, climbing walls and a large splash pool. Set it up over summer and keep your kids happy.

The three slides connect to form a Z shape and this allows the children to switch from one slide to the other.
